April 3, 2017LIMAY, Bataan – SBMA Director Boy Roque, former Bataan Vice-Governor, who was personally handpicked by President Duterte to serve as one of the Board of Directors of SBMA representing the private sector, said that he will always keep in mind to do what’s best for Bataeños.
Though he is quick to answer that generally, the Board is just like the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, that irrespective of what sector you represent, they deliberate and decide for the benefit of the majority especially those that have relevance to the operations of SBMA and to its adjacent municipalities.
He added that he looks forward to finding opportunities that will give Bataan a better choice like if there are investors who would need bigger and wider spaces but SBMA can no longer accommodate them, then that’s the time he can recommend the Bataan Technological Park (BTPI) and other areas in Morong town since it’s just adjacent to SBMA.
Director Roque said that he’s happy to know that another Bataeño is joining him in the SBMA Board, with the appointment of former Board Member Edwin Enrile, representing the town of Hermosa.
Enrile was recommended by town Mayor Jopet Inton and approved by Governor Abet Garcia.
